My name is Tim Sonenfield, welcome to my website.I’ve made this website so people can see what I do, and what I am interested in doing in the future.
At present I am studying Business IT at Birmingham City University. This course is very good; it covers technology, which I am very interested in, and have been since an early age and also have a good interest in business, as most people are!
When I finished my second year at University, I went on a Year in Industry at a company called E-tabs, I worked as a Junior Developer. It was my responsibility to give support and help develop their CRM, as well as developing in Powershell, Mysql, VB and PHP. This job helped to enhance my programming skills as well as other important life skills.
As a part time voluntary job I am website administrator for HMH JYC. Where I developed their website from scratch, and use Joomla (CMS) to manage the content on a weekly basis.
I am now in my final year, and am in the middle of my Dissertation, which is getting mass-sensor data into a website format, where a user can use a set of tools to drill-down into the data and see live and historic data. This project will help home-owners and key-decision makers see their energy consumption. The main code is going to be written in a mixture of HTML, PHP and JavaScript.
Website development and website administration is an interest of mine. I’d like to go into Website Consultancy once graduated, or IT Support. In my final year at University there is a topic on Consultancy and IT, therefore this is appropriate and helpful towards my future.
I hope you enjoy looking around my website and feel free to contact me.
